GMail Users Warning

For those who use GMail, for Heavens sake read this post I am linking to here.

Popular web designer David Airey, who’s excellent blog I often visit, has been hijacked, stolen away from him, and he is now being subject to blackmail. Just click on the name to get the full sad story. If anyone can help please let me know. Thank you.

David, my very best wishes to you in resolving this issue.

My gmail account was disabled and I could not access my blog. I’m not sure whether we are talking about the same thing. I appealed for reinstatement and enabling of my account at the Help Center and it has now been reinstated.

I’m not sure whether this helps.

Thanks for reading the story Susanno, Maher Saleh, JW and Jesie. It is indeed most disturbing, David had a very successful website, which is of course why he wqs picked on in the first place. The greater peoples awareness things like this can happen, the more likely the prevention.

David, I know you are in a dilemna right now, and quite rightly don’t want to even part with a cent to a criminal. I wish you all the best with your legal proceedings, and hope you can be reimbursed. The way I see it, it’s a battle you have to fight, and it’s not just your battle. If They get away with this one time, it’s the green light to hijacking. We all must try to help any way we can.
