Mark, thanks for leaving the comment on my blog. Serializing your father’s novel is a great idea. For me, posting my fiction meant going from no readers to many a day (not that many but a whole lot more than none.) Readers is half of why I write and I faced terrible blocks at every traditional stage, which even the gatekeepers admitted had little to do with my writing’s quality. Hurray for the internet.

I don’t know if you’d be interested but you observation that serial fiction reminded you of work art music has prompted me to steer you over to newcritics.com. (I have a widget up on my blog but I think http://newcritics.com should take you there.)

Recently I posted a review of “This is Your Brain on Music,” The Science of a Human Obsession. The book is fascinating, if not especially well written. He does warn readers who are musicians when they’d be better off skipping a few chapters, though.

Great making your acqaintence, Kathleen Maher
